तमिलनाडु स्थित होगेनक्कल जल-प्रपात का जल स्तर बढ़ गया है और वह खतरे के निशान से ऊपर है। दरअसल कर्नाटक के कृष्ण राज सागर बांध से पानी छोड़ा गया है। जिसके कारण जल प्रपात में पानी काफी बढ़ गया है। निचले इलाकों में रहने वालों को सुरक्षित स्थानों में जाने के लिये कहा गया है। इसके साथ ही प्रशासन ने टीम तैयार की है और स्थिति पर नज़र बनाए हुए है।

आज के दिन आईबीएम ने पहला पर्सनल IBM 5150 कंप्यूटर बनाया था, जिसे आम लोग इस्तेमाल कर सकते थे। 1,565 डॉलर की कीमत वाले इस कंप्यूटर ने दुनिया में एक बड़ा प्रभाव डाला। आज के ज्यादातर पर्सनल कंप्यूटर्स उसी आईबीएम के कंप्यूटर के आधार पर ही बनाए जा रहे हैं। इससे पहले भी पर्सनल कंप्यूटर बने थे लेकिन यह बिलकुल अलग था। यह पोर्टेबल था यानि कहीं ले आना या जाने में आसानी होती थी।
