असम एनआरसी: अतिरिक्त ड्राफ्ट आज हो सकता है जारी

असम में NRC का कार्यालय आज एक अतिरिक्त ड्राफ्ट जारी कर सकता है। इस ड्राफ्ट में उन लोगों के नाम होंगे जिन्हें पहले ड्राफ्ट में शामिल किया गया था, लेकिन जांच और सत्यापन के बाद इन्हें नागरिकता के लिए योग्य नहीं पाया गया। इनके नाम पहले के ड्राफ्ट में शामिल थे, लेकिन सत्यापन के दौरान ये पाया गया कि ये लोग नागरिकता के लिए योग्य नहीं हैं। एनआरसी की अंतिम सूची इस साल 31 जुलाई को जारी की जाएगी। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निगरानी में चल रहे NRC का पहला ड्राफ्ट दिसंबर 31, 2017 को जारी किया गया था जिसमें 3. 29 करोड़ लोगों में से 1. 9 करोड़ लोगों के नाम शामिल थे। इसके बाद 30 जुलाई 2018 को जारी ड्राफ्ट में 2. 89 करोड़ लोगों के नाम शामिल किए गए।
